LearnDash is a long-established choice for selling and delivering online courses on WordPress, and its official MCP server brings course-building and student management into a conversational interface, working with AI agents like Cursor and Elementor’s Angie.

An assistant can create, read, update and delete courses, lessons and topics, enable and grade assignments, update enrolments, and organise content with tags, categories and prerequisites. There are clear limits: it can’t create WordPress users, manage quizzes, create certificates, upload media, or genuinely bulk-process anything, every “bulk” action still runs one item at a time through the REST API.

LearnDash has no free version, only a 48-hour trial, and three paid annual plans (Essentials, Pro and Elite). The MCP server is part of the core product rather than a separate paid add-on.
